DMV and Delaware (?)

This week I have met and started working with Dr. Marsh. The main focus this week is creating a comprehensive and expansive reading list to help provide a wealth of knowledge on communicable diseases. What better way to tackle an expansive reading list than you pack up for a day trip to the beach with a stack of articles and few of W&J's most recent alums!!

If you have never lived in the greater Washington, DC area- fondly refered to as the DMV, you probably can't relate to the way traffic patterns work. Since moving to Lowell Street I have spent the last week learning that its normal to drive through at least two states on your way to get milk, and now we are driving two hours to go to the beach; something I never though I would do. I someone who grew up in South Western, Pennsylvania the concept of a beach "DAY TRIP" sounded absolutely crazy. Alumnae Amanda Mummert '17, Alex Raulin '17, Brianne Alban '17, and I went to a beach in Delaware.
